A simple concept with a unique subject. My aim was to bring my Anatomical series into a house setting rather than a studio to collaborate and incorporate the subject’s space into the images. As a member of the queer community there is still not enough representation of a lot of identities and races themselves (at least in most of North America), so I invited my friend Pablo Seto, a water polo loving, artistic and intelligent individual with Chinese descent to model for me in his home. Some images are simply meant to highlight the body he has worked hard for but others use the space in tandem with light to create a slightly more abstract visual of him. I wanted to push the concept further from simple anatomy by using light, shapes, shadows and lines to create a more artistic impact.
