“SHELTER: A Photoshoot 2500 Miles Apart” by Michael Andre

This is what happened when New York based photographer Michael Andre and Los Angeles based artist and model Devon Sedrick got together and decided that sticking it out at home during the Covid-19 quarantine should not deprive them of the fun of working together. The two of them, who have yet to meet in person, decided to conduct a creative photoshoot 2500 miles apart, entirely via FaceTime.

Devon describes himself as both a nomad and sailboat captain, who is currently staying at home on his boat in Marina del Rey, California, and urges everyone to be safe and stay home.

“I’ve been wanting to do a FaceTime shoot for a while, to keep creatively active during these times. I couldn’t have found a more perfect subject than Devon. He certainly looks quite cozy sheltering on his boat.” – Michael Andre
